An installer that publishes its prices and fits the work itself.
Pro-Fit Green Energy designs, supplies and installs domestic solar, battery storage and reversible air conditioning across Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire, from two bases: Yeovil and Poole.
Where we work from
Covering Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire.
Accreditation marks and review scores are added here once verified.
A local installer, not a national lead generator.
A lot of the companies you find when you search for solar do not install anything. They collect your details, sell them on, and somebody else turns up.
Our prices are on the website so you can compare us without giving us anything, the survey is free with nothing sold at it, and the price is fixed in writing afterwards with 14 days to change your mind.

The people who quote it are the people who fit it.
Why it matters on the day
Our installation teams are ours, not a rota of subcontractors booked by the week.
It means the surveyor who wrote down where the battery goes and the electrician who puts it there work for the same company, and a question asked at survey is answered by someone who will still be around at handover.
Why it matters afterwards
If something needs looking at in a year, there is no argument about whose responsibility it is. We fitted it, so we come back to it.
Scaffolding is the one thing we bring in, because scaffolders are a trade in their own right. Everything from the survey to the commissioning and the handover is done by our own people.
Yeovil and Poole.
Two locations, a little over an hour apart, which between them put most of Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire within a sensible drive for a survey, an installation and a return visit.
Yeovil, Somerset
Our Somerset base. Covers south Somerset, the Blackmore Vale, west Dorset and towards Taunton and Sherborne.
Poole, Dorset
Our Dorset base. Covers Poole, Bournemouth, the Purbecks, east Dorset and into south west Hampshire.
If you are outside those areas, ring us and ask. If a job is too far for us, we will say so.
Accreditations, reviews and company details.
Nothing goes in this section until it can be checked against the issuing body's own register.
Accreditations
Certification and scheme membership marks are added here once verified, with the registration number alongside each one so you can look it up in the issuing body's own register rather than taking our word for it.
Reviews
Review scores are added here once verified, linked to the platform they came from so you can read the full set including the poor ones.
Company details
Registered company name, company number, registered office and VAT number are added here once verified.
Until each of those is confirmed, this page makes no claim about certification, scheme membership, review scores, the number of installations we have completed, or work carried out for any public body, council or government department.
Things we have decided not to do.
-
No savings figure before a survey What a system saves depends on your roof, your usage and your tariff. A number produced before anyone has seen the property is a guess dressed up as a calculation. Your surveyor produces one afterwards, to the MCS method, with the assumptions written down so you can check them.
-
No monthly finance figures on the website A monthly payment without the interest rate, the term, the deposit and the total amount payable next to it tells you almost nothing. You get the full credit terms in writing after your survey, before anything is agreed.
-
No discount that expires on Friday The price does not drop because you hesitated. The only dated fact here is the VAT change on 31 March 2027, which is set in legislation.
-
No pretending electricity costs nothing An installation costs money, and a house still draws from the grid on a still February evening.
-
No selling at the survey The survey is a measuring exercise. There is no presentation, no folder and no price that is only available if you sign today.
Judge us on the price and the survey.
Six questions about your roof and your usage, and a number at the end. If it stands up against anyone else you are talking to, book a free survey. If it does not, you have lost a minute.
